| Pasta
Con Broccoli
4 oz. spaghetti
or whatever type of pasta you like
8 oz. half and half cream
1 oz. butter
1/2 tsp. garlic
1 oz. tomato sauce
1 bunch broccoli (cleaned and flowerette cut into
small pieces and blanched)
*1 oz. chopped mushrooms
1/4 cup grated parmigiano cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Cook pasta
al dente ( to the tooth ) almost cooked all the way
strain off water steam or par boil (blanche) broccoli
then drain and place in sauce pan. Add the pasta,
cream, butter, garlic, and tomato sauce bring to a
simmer then * mushrooms, salt and pepper to taste
crown this feast with some fresh grated parmigiano,
sit down and enjoy. Might want to bring a hanky, cause
when I tried this, I weeped like a baby!
