1 peice of chicken (3 by 4inch.)

Directions

Okay, first of all get a plate, and a bowl. Open the can of tuna, and squeeze the tuna juice into the bowl, after your finished with that. Scoop the tuna onto the plate so its mildy flattened, and spread it all over the plate. Then, take the peice of chicken, and cut it up into 5 peices (should be in the shape of squares). Lay the squares

of chicken down on the tuna. After this, take the turkey ham lunchmeat and stack the two peices on top of eachother, and cut it in half, but 2 halfs on one side of the plate, and the other 2 halfs on the other side of the plate. Fancy Soup

Your cat may love this but this is great on that special birthday. Not an everyday thing!

You will need:

1 raw egg (dont worry you will boil it later)
7 large pinches of garlic

Chop and serve!

Beefy Goodness

Beef based snackin happiness for your cat:

1/2 cup raw trimmed beef
1 few tablespoons of beef broth (NOT the canned or cubed variety either!)
2 tablespoons cooked oatmeal
1 tablespoon dried barley grass powder (This can be purchased at a pet food store)
1 cooked minced veggie (your pets choice)

Cook raw trimmed beef in just enough broth to cover, over medium to low heat. When beef is cooked thru shred with fork and mix with the broth in which it was cooked. Add the minced veggie (carrots are good with this one) and the barley grass powder. Stir well. Last add the oatmeal to achieve the consistancy that your cat likes.

Beagle Buffet

Simple dinner for any dog. It adds a nice sheen to the coat and makes for healthy eyes and heart. A meal that any owner would be more than happy to feed to his Best Friend.

1 cup brown rice
grated carrots (add as much as you like.. it's great for dogs!)
1 tablespoon parsley
1/2 cup peas
one whole yam (sweet potato)

Combine the rice, carrots, parsley, and peas in a rice cooker. Cook as one would normally cook plain rice; do not use salt; it gives dogs coronaries.

As the rice is cooking, boil the sweet potato in water. When it is tender (if a knife goes through the yam without forcing, it is ready), remove from water, peel, and mash.

Mix the rice meal well with the yams. Serve warm.

* If you would like to add some meat to this meal, I recommend very lean ground beef or turkey - I prefer turkey, because dogs don't need very much red meat in their diet. Shape a 1/2 pound of meat into a pattie and grill. Do not fry. Add to the rice meal.

Chocolate is dangerous for pets

Give chocolate to loved ones, and you could end up poisoning them. That is, if the loved ones are your pets.

Even small amounts of theobromine, an ingredient in chocolate, can cause vomiting and restlessness in pets. Larger doses can be fatal. While most pet owners expect a dog to develop an upset stomach after eating a large amount of chocolate, few realize its toxic potential.

The lethal dose of theobromine depends on the size of the dog and the type of chocolate. Ounce for ounce, baking chocolate has six to nine times as much of the substance as milk chocolate does.

Estimates of the smallest amounts that can be fatal are:

4 to 10 ounces of milk chocolate or 1/2 to 1 ounce of baking chocolate for small dogs, such as Chihuahuas and toy poodles.

1 to 1 1/2 pounds of milk chocolate or 2 to 3 ounces of baking chocolate for medium-sized dogs, like cocker spaniels and dachshunds.

2 to 4 1/2 pounds of milk chocolate or 4 to 8 ounces of baking chocolate for large dogs, including collies and Labrador retrievers.

Cats have much different eating habits and seldom are poisoned by chocolate.

While a very small amount of chocolate may not harm some dogs, it's safest to avoid giving it to them at all. If an accident occurs, a veterinarian should be consulted. Treatment may require inducing vomiting, stabilizing the animal's heartbeat and respiration, controlling seizures and slowing the absorption of theobromine. If the animal already is comatose, its stomach may need to be pumped.
