Well, it’s guys night and 2 will be gone tomorrow night. Is Ryan getting on anyones nerves? Oh well. Let’s get started.
* = Just OK
** = Not Bad
*** = Good
**** = Very Good
***** = Top 12 Material
Lee Dewyze: ** Better than last week but still a little out of tune.
Alex Lambert: ** Nothing special for me. Same as last week.
Tim Urban: ** He surprised me. Better than all the times before put together.
Andrew Garcia: ** First time for 2 stars for this guy but didn’t do anything for me.
Casey James: ** Just OK for me.
Aaron Kelley: ** Just alright for me. Where’s the rock and roll? Enough of the ballads!
Todrick Hall: **** Igive this guy 4 stars. That was excellent redition of the Queen song and he did everything the judges have been telling everyone since day 1. They had nothing to complain about but did anyway. Best of the night so far.
Michael Lynche: ***** Very, very nice. Excellent job. Gave him 5 stars.
Best of night…. Michael Lynche of course.

Lee Dewyze and Tim Urban
I’m beginning to think that I’m too critical, but in the auditions I thought this was going to be a better group than usual and I think it’s worse! I could almost give everyone 2 stars. Well, not quite.
My scores are:
Lee Dewyze ** poor start and off key
Alex Lambert ** no, I don’t think so! Too stiff, although better than last week. he tried.
Tim Urban ** Better than usual but still off key.
Andrew Garcia ** Off and on…..the notes!
Casey James *** not at all exciting but in tune
Aaron Kelly * sounds young, or nervous, or both. off key
Todrick Hall *** Last half was better than the first
Michael Lynch – ***** Didn’t like his 1st. line but he sure nailed that song
to go home? Lee and Aaron.
I sort of wish they could send home three girls and only one guy this week, but here goes:
Lee DeWyze – *** Off pitch, but at least it was upbeat. He wants to be this year’s David Cook, but he’s not there yet.
Alex Lambert – *** Sounded nice, but I wish he had more stage presence.
Tim Urban – *** Nice, but not all that memorable. He was on pitch, but needs breath control.
Andrew Garcia – *** Better than the last two weeks, pitch problems.
Casey James **** My notes just say “good,” so that means it must not have been all that memorable
Aaron Kelly *** He was singing through his nose and pushing that false vibrato in the beginning, but pulled it together later in the song. Not his best.
Toddrick Hall – **** Interesting arrangement, very creative, but the heavy backup at times overpowered his voice.
Michael Lynche ***** He seems to be the only one of the guys who is stepping up his game week after week.
Hard to say who is going home. I think Tim, based on his overall body of work. Aaron probably should go home, but I think the power-dialing teens will keep him in for now. So my second pick is Toddrick.
It’s going to be a little more difficult to pick tonight as the ones, who were my sure choices, stepped it up a bit last night. Andrew seems to be in a slow decline, and I’m sad about that, as I really liked him in Hollywood week.
Other than Michael and Toddrick, you could get rid of any of the rest and I’d be ok with it…..so my picks to go for the guys this week are……Alex and Andrew and I hope I’m wrong with Andrew.
Well I’m still not impressed by Idol this time. Girl’s or Guy’s. No one has been outstanding for me
(1)Lee Dewyze-Fireflies-Just an OK performance
but hanging in there for me.
(2)Alex Lambert-Trouble-Just Okay he can stay
(3)I have Jeff Buckley as #3. You all have Tim Urban.
Whoever it was he sang Halleujah. Okay to stay.
(4)Andrew Garcia-Genie in a Bottle- I didn’t think he
should have made it to the Finals. He’s out for me.
(5)Casey James-Don’t remember song but he was good.
(6)Aaron Kelly-I’m Already There-I don’t think anyone else was impressed but I liked him.I have him as Good.
(7)Todrick Hall-Somebody to Love-Didn’t care for it.
(8)Michael Lynche-One Woman’s Work-Not too familiar with song but he was good doing it. I think he is strong
and should stay.
In my opinion Andrew Garcia and Todrick Hall should
be on the “Going Home” List.
