Day 26 - Little Rock, Arkansas
We landed in Little Rock, Arkansas a little after 10am. She put on her Arkansas Razorback hat on and man, sis she get some looks!
We weren't out there a few minutes when a 18 wheeler pulled over and gave us a ride. His name was Buddy "Bugs" Jones. He was a gruffy, no-nonsense, type of fellow.
The museum includes replicas of the Oval Office and the Cabinet Room. Permanent exhibits utilize documents, photographs, videos and interactive stations. A timeline and alcoves highlight domestic and foreign policy, as well as life in the White House.
The archival and museum holdings at the Clinton Presidential Library and Museum are the largest within the Presidential Library system. Included in these collections are approximately 76.8 million pages of paper documents, 1.85 million photographs and over 75,000 museum artifacts. Official records, as well as donated materials, will be made available to researchers.
We we getting hungry so we left, I told Ziggy, "How about some Arkansas Hush Puppies?"
Of course, she thought I was speaking of dogs and said "NO!" But as soon as some of these were served up, she couldn't get enough.
Serve these up at any meal and watch them disappear. Here's the recipe.
